Roger Milla, one of Africa’s greatest living football legends believes that Africa has the quality to win the world cup.
As reported by the telegraph.co.uk, Milla indicated that on the field, everyone is equal and that It’s no longer the Brazil, Italy or France we saw 10 years ago. It’s 50-50.

African players have been playing in major leagues around the world with their European counterparts. “It will be the teams with the best preparation who go furthest.” Milla told source.

Milla hopes that Africa can build on the achievements of Ghana and Ivory Coast in their previous outings. At Italian ’90, Milla stunted the world by helping Cameroon to the quarter-finals stage at age 38. He scored fours goal and he would be remembered for his corner-flag dance celebration after each goal. In that competition, Cameroon beat Argentina, Romania and Columbia. They were knocked out by England in a thrilling 3-2 encounter after the game had traveled into extra time.

Next year summer in SouthAfrica, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Algeria, Ivory Coast as well as South Africa will try to battle the rest world as African representatives. Fans around the continent are gearing up for the competition to be host on African soil for the first time in history.
