Highly rated Senegalese striker, Mame Biram Diouf is ready to make his debut for Manchester United. Diouf has been cleared to play for the club after receiving a work permit and an international clearance.

United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has been impressed with the performance of the new boy at training and has handed him the number 32 shirt formerly worn by Carlos Tevez, now of Manchester City.

‘He has adapted very well to our training regime and has looked very impressive,’ Ferguson told Inside United.

‘He is quick, very good in the air and a good striker of the ball. Overall, he is a really good centre-forward and he will play a part this season.’

The 22-year forward signed for United in the summer but remained at Norwegian club Molde on loan until the end of their season. While at Molde he netted 30 goals in 62 games since joining the club in 2007.
